1/1/01: RGL changes name as Ricky starts his own company
Effective 1/1/2001, Rhoads Grunden Lucca Capital Management became Rhoads Lucca Capital Management, as one of our three principals, Ricky Grunden, is leaving RGL to open his own financial management practice in Denton. Ricky's motivations are two-fold: eliminating the hour-long commutes into Dallas and building a business that more closely reflects his personal style. Over the last 14 years, Ricky has helped create a strong RGL, and we wish him all success in creating his new company. Meanwhile, John and Dave will continue serving and growing the new Rhoads Lucca firm.

11/6/00: Debbie celebrates 10th Anniversary at RGL!
Today marks the 10th anniversary of Debbie Niedermeyer's career at Rhoads Grunden Lucca. She has been such an integral part of RGL for these many years that it's hard to believe the company ever existed without her! We can only hope that Debbie has enjoyed working with us as much as we have enjoyed working with her. Congratulations, Debbie!

10/20/00: Life changes for RGL staff member!
Laurie Goetsch, John's strategic assistant since March 1998, has left Rhoads Grunden Lucca to become a stay-at-home mother. Her first child is due this December. We support her decision and wish her all the best in her new endeavor.

10/12/00: Account information now available online!
RGL clients can now have around the clock Internet access to their current account balances and transaction history through Accountlynx. [Visit our Accountlynx page (LINK)] to learn more about this service and how to register to use it.

9/05/00: Welcome, Susan Patton!
Susan Patton is the newest member of the RGL team, joining us to replace Laurie Goetsch as John Rhoads' Strategic Assistant. (Laurie will be leaving in late October to become a stay-at-home mother.) Susan's background is in project management and as a corporate-level assistant. See Susan's bio.

7/1/00: Ricky Grunden on DATAlynx Advisory Board
Our own Ricky Grunden has been named to the DATAlynx Advisory Board. His two-year term begins July 17, 2000, during the annual DATAlynx conference in Denver. Ricky's presence on the Advisory Board will give RGL an important voice at DATAlynx/First Trust Corporation. First Trust is the custodian for the assets managed by RGL.

5/30/00: Pennsylvania Office Moves to New Quarters
The Lancaster, PA office of Rhoads Grunden Lucca has moved to a larger and more centrally located suite. The new contact information (effective today) is:

phone 717-569-8500
toll free 888-254-1727 (unchanged)

03/20/00: Welcome, Mark Steele!
Mark Steele joined the RGL team today as Strategic Assistant to Dave Lucca. In addition to assisting with client service issues, he will help Dave manage a variety of special projects, including new portfolio model ideas. See Mark's bio.

3/11/00: New Stock Portfolio Model Introduced
RGL's latest investment option for clients is the Wealth Opportunities Worldwide (WOW!) Stock Portfolio Model. It was officially launched at today's Client Meeting. See full information on WOW!

11/1/99: Electronic Funds Transfer Now Available for One-Time Withdrawals
RGL clients now have a new delivery option when making a one-time withdrawal from their accounts: EFT (electronic funds transfer; also called Automated Clearing House) (formerly only available for on-going monthly or quarterly withdrawals). With EFT, funds are deposited directly into your bank account two working days after the cash is available in your First Trust/DATAlynx account (almost as fast as a wire, but without any extra charges). Contact Debbie or Laurie for more information on this great new delivery option.

11/1/99: First Trust/DATAlynx Account Statements Changing
Effective this month, First Trust/DATAlynx is revising the format of their monthly account statements. These changes (none substantial) are designed to make the statements easier to review. A new "Guide to Your DATAlynx Statement" will accompany the November statements.

8/30/99: Rhoads Grunden Lucca is moving offices!
Effective September 10, 1999, our Dallas headquarters will be in our new home at 14911 Quorum, Suite 380, Dallas, TX 75240. Please address any correspondence to this address, starting September 1st. Our telephone and fax numbers and web addresses will not be changing.

4/1/99: Opportunity to waive prospectus delivery
Currently, all RGL clients are mailed the prospectus of any mutual fund which is purchased in their account. Starting in April 1999, clients will be able to waive the right to receive these prospectuses if they so wish. (Many do!) RGL will keep copies of each prospectus on file at our offices, to provide ready access when clients request. Future new accounts will be able to waive or retain prospectus delivery on the account application form.

3/31/99: Notice of Amendment to DATAlynx Account Agreement
A "Notice of Amendment to DATAlynx Account Agreement" will be included in the March account statements. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT AFFECT ANY RGL CLIENTS. It states that those clients who wish to hold a certificate of deposit (CD) within their DATAlynx account will be required to buy a specific CD (the "First Choice CD") instead of being able to choose among those offered by several banks. (DATAlynx made this change because the broad choice CD service had high operating costs but low demand.)

3/15/99: Year-End 1099 Summaries Now Final
According to First Trust/DATAlynx, there are no more changes expected to the 1998 Year-End 1099 Summaries. Clients invested in All Growth have received one revised 1099 Summary this year. The original 1099 Summary is correct and final for clients in all other portfolios.

3/1/99: 1999 Client Meeting scheduled for March 27th
RGL's sixth annual client appreciation event was held on Saturday, March 27th, from 9:30am to 11:45am at the Westin Galleria Hotel, Dallas. Over 100 clients and friends attended, making this the biggest-ever client meeting! As usual, we will mail audiotapes of the meeting to all clients in the next few weeks.
